Love Like Jakob serves residents in Lamar and Forrest Counties.
How We Serve
Love Like Jakob provides financial assistance for students needing help with activity fees, for band, theater or other extracurricular activities. Additionally, we award a scholarship to a senior from Sumrall High School.
Further, we provide assistance for community disaster relief, support for local arts initiatives, and support for families who have experienced unimaginable tragedy as we have.

Love Like Jakob is primarily financed through donations. Your gift helps to keep Jakob’s legacy alive.
Greeting from Jakob’s Mom
Jakob was such a bright light and his absence is felt in every moment. Our lives were changed when God brought him into this world, and I am forever thankful that I had nearly 18 years with my precious boy. Our hope and prayer is that through this mission we continue Jakob’s legacy by showing love through action, not just words.
Jakob was very verbal about telling people that he loves them, but he also made a point to actively show that love every day. Sometimes it looked like providing a ride, lending an ear to a friend in need, dropping off bread to a shelter, picking up his mamas house just to see her smile, or delivering candy canes to the store workers where he FREQUENTLY bought snacks, and much much more!
